Chad has dedicated himself to public service since 2007, initially as a volunteer firefighter. His commitment to helping others led him to become a certified emergency medical services technician in 2013, where he served on the ambulance until 2017. During that time he completed several course such as Tactical Combat Casualty Care, Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support and became an instructor for the American Heart Association. Driven by his lifelong ambition to be a police officer, Chad made a career change and began his law enforcement journey at the Coles County Jail. After completing training at the University of Illinois Police Training Institute, he transitioned to a patrolman role. In 2021, he left the sheriff's department to join the Charleston Police Department. As a patrolman, Chad takes immense pride in serving and giving back to the community where he grew up.

Throughout his career in law enforcement, Chad has actively sought to enhance his skills by completing various training courses, including becoming a patrol rifle instructor and obtaining basic SWAT training. In recent years, he has dedicated himself to serving as a medical instructor for the police department, a role he holds in high regard. This position is particularly meaningful for Chad, as he greatly admires the officer who served as his mentor during their training together. The opportunity to follow in his mentor's footsteps and contribute to the professional development of his peers is a source of pride and motivation for Chad, reflecting his commitment to both personal growth and the safety of the community he serves.

Chad has always shared his passion for the medical field with his brother Mike, whom he considers one of the smartest people he knows. In 2021, when Illinois mandated that law enforcement officers undergo medical training, Chad eagerly volunteered to join the committee responsible for designing the course. Collaborating closely with Mike, they developed comprehensive course content that not only met the new legal requirements but also ensured the highest standards of medical education. Their hard work paid off when the course was approved by both the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board and the Illinois Department of Public Health. Chad humbly credits most of the success to Mike's exceptional insights and expertise, showcasing the strong bond and collaborative spirit they share in their mutual passion for medicine.

Chad is passionately committed to transforming MEDC Training Solutions into a premier training company that individuals eagerly anticipate attending. With a dedication to delivering real-world, up-to-date training for first responders and the public, he aims to enrich his community. Understanding the importance of accessible healthcare knowledge, he has introduced a free Basic CPR and Blood Loss Prevention class, believing that financial constraints should never hinder someone’s ability to learn life-saving skills.
